Micro Spline Lockring compatible with SHIMANO 12-speed (MTB, Gravel) – extra-long thread, safety teeth, red
The extra-long thread engages deeper into the freehub thread than conventional lockrings—for greater thread engagement and a secure connection.
The m-bike parts lockring for SHIMANO Micro Spline 12-speed cassettes is made of high-quality aluminum and also features integrated safety teeth. The red anodized finish gives it a premium, sporty look, and it’s ultra-lightweight.
The lockring is compatible with SHIMANO Micro Spline 12-speed cassettes, including the SHIMANO XTR CS-M9100, SHIMANO DEORE XT CS-M8100 and SHIMANO SLX CS-M7100.
The Advantage of the Extra-Long Thread
With a cut thread length of approximately 6.25 mm, the m-bikeparts lockring engages deeper into the internal threads of the Micro Spline freehub body than conventional lockrings. This creates a larger threaded engagement area, enabling a secure and stable connection between the cassette, lockring, and freehub body.
Another advantage: If the outer or front threads of the freehub body are slightly damaged or worn, the longer thread can utilize threads located further inside that are still intact. This may compensate for minor damage in the initial section of the thread under certain circumstances.
Important: The lockring does not repair a damaged thread. If the freewheel thread is severely damaged or can no longer withstand the load, the freewheel body must be replaced or the thread must be re-cut.
Integrated Safety Teeth
The m-bike parts lockring also features safety teeth. These additional teeth distinguish it from conventional lockrings that lack safety teeth.

Installation:
Our products must be installed properly using the appropriate tools and in accordance with the included installation instructions.
If you lack experience, we recommend having the installation performed by a qualified professional or a bicycle mechanic.
Before Riding:
After assembly, the drivetrain must function flawlessly across the entire gear range while the bike is on the assembly stand. The cassette and all associated components must be correctly installed and securely fastened. If the shifting is faulty or any components—such as the brakes—are not securely fastened, the bicycle must not be ridden.
Note on Use:
The cassette and chain are wear parts. During normal use, chains may stretch, the tooth flanks of the sprockets may wear down, and the surface of the cassette may visibly change due to contact with the bicycle chain. This wear and tear, which results from normal use, is due to normal wear and tear and, as such, does not constitute a material defect in the goods, which were free of defects at the time of delivery.

Inspection and Return:
Upon receipt, please first inspect your merchandise for completeness, condition, and compatibility.
You may assemble the product and test its functionality on the assembly stand. If you wish to exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, you should not ride your product beyond what is necessary for inspection, as further use may result in signs of wear and tear and a possible reduction in value. Any compensation for loss of value to be paid will be determined in accordance with statutory requirements.
The consumer’s statutory rights, in particular the statutory right of withdrawal and statutory warranty rights, remain unaffected.
