Safety Warnings and Safety Information
Installation:
A cassette must be installed properly using the appropriate tools and in accordance with the included installation instructions.
If you lack experience, we recommend having the installation performed by a qualified professional or a bicycle mechanic.
Before Riding:
After installation, the drivetrain must function flawlessly across the entire gear range while the bike is on the repair stand. The cassette and all adjacent components must be correctly installed and securely fastened. If the shifting is faulty or components—such as the brakes—are not securely fastened, the bicycle must not be ridden again.
Note on Use:
The cassette and chain are wear parts. During normal use, the tooth flanks of the sprockets in particular can wear down, and the surface of the cassette can visibly change due to contact with the bicycle chain. This normal, usage-related wear does not constitute a material defect. We do not recommend continuing to use damaged or heavily worn components.
Intended Use:
For use on bicycles in accordance with the product’s technical specifications.
Inspection and Cancellation:
Upon receipt, please first check the cassette for completeness, condition, and compatibility.
You may assemble the cassette and test its functionality on the assembly stand to evaluate the product. If you wish to exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, the cassette should not be operated beyond what is necessary for testing, as further use may result in signs of wear and a potential reduction in value. Any compensation for loss of value that may be required is subject to the statutory provisions.
The consumer’s statutory rights, in particular the statutory right of withdrawal and statutory warranty rights, remain unaffected.
